The second qualifying race - June 14th 2008-06-12

Another veteran is Hastaven, who has three times won a qualifying race but has not yet got round successfully in the big race itself. Moning Let is strongly fancied for the race in October, but he fell at the Irish Bank in the May qualifying race. Juventus has finished 2nd and 5th in the VP in the last two years – and this is a race where success is often repeated. Klip, who went eventing for several years, won the May 2007 qualifying race. My Best Risk is too young to run in October, but may do quite well here. All finishers qualify for the VP.
